As you've heard during any number of our general meetings, Clubspot is the new platform that has been gradually replacing a number of our one-off platforms. It started last year managing Learn to Sail registrations and payments and we've recently started to use it to manage other event registrations.  Shortly it will also be supporting bar sales as well as gas, ice, and merchandise sales. In the near future, it will also be supporting our membership database and replacing our somewhat outdated website with something cleaner and more user-friendly.

One of the benefits of having all this information on one platform is that it makes it easier for both members and staff to get a better holistic picture of how our club functions. When you make a purchase, you'll be able to see it immediately by logging into your account on the website. If you want to sign up for an event, you can easily do so by clicking a link in an email or on the website and, if appropriate, charge the event to your account or your credit card. We'll also be able to more easily keep our membership up to date with calendars that outline races, events, and parties.

This integration simplifies the management of club activities, enhances the user experience, and ensures that all data is consolidated and accessible from a single platform.  It's user friendly, and highly encrypted, making it a safe and obvious choice for our club.

Transition always takes time, particularly in a volunteer club environment, and there are always bumps in the road. Sometimes information is updated slowly, incorrectly, or incompletely, and there's always a learning curve for users.
